In a Philadelphia paper of Thursday last, we have an account
of the inhabitants of Lewes Town (in Pennsylvania) meeting
on the 19th of March, to celebrate the anniversary of the
repeal of the Stamp Act, which appears to have been done
with great demonstrations of joy, both by men and women.
After singing several Liberty songs, they concluded the day
by drinking many patriotic and loyal toasts. . . [8 lines
describing the toasts]
