By permission of his Excellency the Governor. For the
benefit of Mr. Tomlinson. Being the last night but one of
acting here for this season. By the American Company. At the
Theatre in John-Street, this evening, being Monday the 30th
of May, 1768, will be presented, a tragedy, called, 
The Gamester. 
Beverly, by Mr. Hallam.  Stukely, by Mr. Douglass.  Lewson,
by Mr. Wall.  Jarvis, by Mr. Morris.  Dawson, by Mr. Woolls. 
Bates, by Mr. Tomlinson.  Charlotte, by Miss Hallam.  Lucy,
(with a song,) by Miss Wainwright.  Mrs. Beverly, by Miss
Cheer.  The Epilogue, by Miss Cheer.  An occasional
prologue, address'd to the public, will be spoken by Mr.
Wall. Singing by Mr. Woolls. 
After which an occasional epilogue, will be spoken by Mr.
Wall, in the character of Don Quixote, riding on an ass. 
Sancho Pancho, his 'Squire, by Mr. Tomlinson. 
To which will be added, a ballad opera, call'd, 
The Devil to Pay. or, The Wives Metamorphos'd. 
Sir John Loverule, by Mr. Woolls.  Jobson, by Mr. Tomlinson. 
Butler, by Mr. Morris.  Doctor, by Mr. Robbins, (Being his
first appearance on any stage.)  Footman, by Mr. Wall.  Lady
Loverule, by Mrs. Harman.  Lucy, by Mrs. Tomlinson. 
Lettice, by Mrs. Wall.  Nell, by Miss Wainwright.  To
conclude with the much admired song of Mad Bess, in
character. By Miss Wainwright: 
To begin exactly at half after six.  Vivant Rex & Regina.
Tickets to be had at the usual places, and of Mr. Tomlinson,
in New-Street.
