By permission of his excellency the governor.  By the
American company.  At the theatre in John-Street, to-morrow,
being Friday the first day of January 1768, will be
presented by command of Lady Moore; a comedy, called 
The Busy Body.
The Busy Body,  by Mr. Hallam. Sir George Airy, by Mr.
Henry. Sir Francis Gripe, by Mr. Morris, Charles, by Mr.
Wall, Sir Jealous Traffic, by Mr. Douglass, Whisper, by Mr.
Allyn, Butler, by Mr. Greville, Isabinda, by Miss Hallam,
Patch, by Mrs. Harman, Scentwell, by Mrs. Tomlinson,
Miranda, by Miss Cheer.
To which will be added a farce, called 
The Deuce is in Him.
Col. Tamper, by Mr. Hallam, Major Belford, by Mr. Douglass,
Prattle, by Mr. Wall, Bell, by Miss Wainwright, Mademoiselle
Florival, by Mrs. Harman, Emily, by Miss Hallam.
To begin exactly at six o'clock.  Vivant rex & regina.
No persons can, on any pretence whatsoever, be admitted
behind the scenes.
Tickets, without which no person can be admitted, are sold
at Mr. Gaine's, in Hanover-Square, and by Mr. Hays, in the
area of the theatre.
Places in the boxes, may be taken of Mr. Broadbelt, at the
stage-door.  Boxes 8s. Pit 5s, Gallery 3s.
To prevent accidents by carriages meeting, it is requested
that those coming to the house, may enter John-Street from
the Broad-Way, and returning, drive from thence down John-
Street, into Nassau-Street, or forwards to that known by the
name of Cart and Horse Street, as may be most convenient.
