To the public. On Friday evening next, at 7 o'clock, will be
opened a concert of music, which I purpose to continue every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, during the summer season, for
the entertainment of such gentlemen and ladies as please to
favour me with their company. I flatter myself, from the
happy conclusion of the late impending danger, and the share
I have had of the public's favour, (for which I take this
opportunity of returning my most sincere thanks) that this
innocent amusement can scarce give offence to any person
whatsoever; as every possible precaution will be used to
prevent disorder and irregularity, by the public's much
obliged, and most obedient humble servant, Edward Bardin.
King's Arms, New York.
