[London] By advices lately received from Warwickshire we are
informed, that an old walnut-tree, planted before the door
of Shakespear's father and flourishing at the nativity of
that immortal poet, at Stratford upon Avon in the said
county, has, within a short time since been cut down and
that several gentlemen (in regard to his memory) have had a
number of images carved out of the same, exactly resembling
his effigy in Westminster-Abbey.
