[News from London, in column entitled "Deaths"] 24. Mr.
Christopher Munday, a celebrated Master of Musick, at
Oxford; and a person of such extraordinary mechanical
abilities, that, though totally blind, he was not only the
inventor, but also the maker of a most exquisite instrument,
which many of the curious have seen and heard with
admiration, being two organs and a harpsichord, so
constructed as to be played together or separately; and in
which are inserted the harp and flute stops, together with a
concert stop, and a grand chorus.
