[Italian news via London.] . . . The Corsicans have likewise
made themselves masters of a tower on the sea coast of Cape
Corso, where they seized a Genoese vessel under French
colours, loaden with  provisions, ammunition, and two large
brass cannon.  General Paoli was in march, with his whole
force, in pursuit of M. Matra, and had caused Te Deum to be
sung in all the provinces under his jurisdiction.
