benefit of Mrs. Morris.  By a company of comedians. At the
New Theatre, in Chapel-Street, this present evening, being
the 4th of Feb will be presented, a tragedy, written by
Nathaniel Lee, Esq; call'd,
Theodosius: Or, The Force of Love.  
With a view of the inside of the temple in its original
splendor, at the first institution of the Christian religion
at Constantinople: The vision of Constantine the Great, a
bloody cross in the air, and these words in golden
characters, In Hoc Signo Vinces.
Varanes, by Mr. Hallam;  Theodosius, by Mr. Morris; 
Marcian, by Mr. Douglass;  Lucius, by Mr. Reed,  Atticus, by
Mr. Sturt;  Leontine, by Mr. Tomlinson;  Aranthes, by Mr. A.
Hallam;  Pucheria, by Mrs. Morris;  Marina, by Mrs. Hallam; 
Flavilla, by Mrs. Allyn;  Julia, by Mrs. Crane. And,
Athenais, by Mrs. Douglas.
With vocal and instrumental musick incident to the play. 
The vocal parts by Mrs. Sturt, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Hallam, and
Mrs, Allyn.
To which will be added, a farce, call'd, 
The Virgin Unmask'd: or, An Old Man taught Wisdom.
Miss Lucy, by Mrs. Morris;  Goodwill, by Mr. Morris; 
Coupee, by Mr. A. Hallam;  Quaver, by Mr. Tomlinson;  Mr.
Thomas, by Mr. Reed.
To begin exactly at six o'clock.  Tickets to be had of Mr.
Gaine, printer, at the Bible & Crown, Hanover Square, and of
Mrs. Morris, at her lodgings, at Mr. Earle's, Hatter, at
Beekman's Slip, where places in the boxes may be taken. 
Boxes 8s.  Pit 5s.  Gallery 3s.
  The ceremony of waiting on ladies and gentlemen at their
houses with bills, has been for some time left off in this
company; the frequent solicitations on these occasions,
having been found rather an inconvenience to the persons so
waited on, than a compliment.
