"Yesterday the anniversary of the birth of the King of Great Britain, our sovereign, was celebrated at court and in the city with all the demonstrations of joy, that the calamities which affect Germany would permit. The nobility and gentry went at six in the evening to castle, where supper was served at three tables of thirty covers each. There where some tables for gaming, and very fine concerts, but no ball." |
