THANKSGIVING ANTHEM on the Return of His Excellency General
Amherst, to New-York, from the Conquest of Canada; perform'd
to general satisfaction, before his Excellency, in Trinity
Church, on Sunday last.
Compil'd and set to Musick by William Tuckey.
Organ part perform'd by Mr. Harrison.
Solo Voice by Mr. Tuckey. And
The Chorus Parts by the Charity Scholars of Trinity-Church
School.
Comfort ye my people, saith our God; speak ye comfortably to
Jerusalem, and cry unto her that her warfare is
accomplished, that her iniquity is pardon'd, for she hath
receiv'd of the Lord's hand, double for all her sins.
