Run away from the heirs of Barent Van Cleck, of
Poughkeepsie, deceased, on Tuesday the 23d instant March, a
mulatto colour'd Negro man slave, named Tom, pock-broken,
about 5 feet 10 inches high, a well-set likely fellow, plays
well on the fiddle, and can read and write. . .  gives
notice thereof to Leonard Van Cleck, or Myndert Veile, of
Dutchess County, shall receive five pounds reward. . .
