24th of June, the Court have received the most important
intelligence from the West Indies, stating, that his
Majesty's forces, commanded by Don Galves, had entirely
driven the English from their establishments, both in the
interior parts of Honduras, and from the very remotest
possessions they enjoyed in any quarter of South America; .
. . [11 lines] This agreeable information was immediately
communicated to the foreign ministers, and orders were
issued for singing Te Deum in all the churches of Madrid,
and for general illuminations, and other demonstrations of
joy, for three successive days.
