By the Honourable Cadwaller Colden, Esq; His Majesty's
Lieutenant Governor, and Commander in Chief of the Province
of New-York, and the Territories depending therein in
America.
A Proclamation.
. . . [Regulations issued for raising an army in the colony,
including rates of pay]
With the following rates of pay to the non-commission
officers and men, viz.
To Serjeants, one shilling and eight pence.
To Corporals and Drummers, One shilling and six pence.
And, to Private Men, one shilling and three pence per day
each.
