Benefit of Mrs. Douglass,
By a Company of Comedians.  At the New Theatre in Chapel-
Street, This present Monday, being the 1st of February, will
be presented, the Tragical History of,
King Richard III.
Containing, the distress and death of King Henry VI. in the
tower; the usurpation of the crown by Richard; the inhuman
murder of the young King Edward V. and his brother the Duke
of York; the fall of the Duke of Buckingham; the landing of
the Earl of Richmond (afterwards Henry VII) at Milford; the
Battle of Bosworth-Field and death of Richard, which put an
end to the contention between the houses of York and
Lancaster; with many other historical passages.
King Richard, by Mr. Douglass. King Henry, by Mr. Hallam.
Queen Elizabeth, by Mrs. Douglass. (Remaining characters,
see the bills for the day)
To which will be added, a dramatic Satire, call'd
Lethe.
With the additional character of Lord Chalkstone.

Tickets to be had of Mr. Gaine, in Hanover-Square, and of
Mrs. Douglass, at her lodgings, near the Theatre, where
places in the boxes may be taken.

[Hand pointing right] The ceremony of waiting on ladies and
gentlemen at their houses with bills, has been for some time
left off in this company: the frequent solicitations on
these occasions, having been found rather an inconvenience
to the person so waited on, than a complement.
