Portsmouth, Nov. 18.  Saturday morning at seven o'clock his
Majesty's ship Royal William fired two signal guns for the
removal of the remains of the ever to be lamented General
Wolfe. . . [16 lines, describing the landing,  beginning of
the cortege to Greenwich]  The colours on our fort were
struck half-flag-staff; our bells were muffled and rung in
dismal solemn concert, with the march; . . .
