The Envoy of the Duke at Lorrain at Paris, was to give, at
Monday last, on occasion of his Highness's marriage, a most
splended entertainment to the ministers of state, foreign
ministers, marshals of France, cardinals, prelates, &c. to
the number of 120 guests. The hall in which the company are
to sup, was erected on purpose, and furnish'd in a manner
exceeding every thing that has been seen. It is to contain
three tables, one of 50 covers, and two of 30. His
Excellency has like-wise prepared a fine fire-work, and the
evening is to conclude with a chorus of drums, trumpets and
firing of guns.
