London, April 21. They write from Bagborough in Somershire,
that on Tuesday last week was buried from that place Mrs.
Jane Keene, a maiden gentlewoman, aged 92: She order'd by
will four men (each near forty, who had never kiss'd a
woman) for her bearers; three violins and other instruments
of musick, were to play all the way before her to the parish
church where she was buried, which was at least a mile and
half; she gave large directions for victuals and drink;
and no one was to wear mourning, or shew the least concern;
her corpse was attended by at least four thousand people,
who seem'd punctually to observe the latter parts of her
will; and the bells of both Parishes rang all the day; she
once design'd six virgins should dance round her grave.
