Letter to Publisher, [pp. 1, 2, 3  Observations on Human
Life].  Nature (as I shall demonstrate) works by infinite
ways, which are impenetrable to our vain and fruitless
enquiries:  The loadstone draws iron to it;  gold attracts
quicksilver; . . . Musick will cure the bite of a
tarantula.(b).
[footnote (b)]  Tarantula is a venomous spider, speckled
white & black, or red and green, whose bite is cured only by
musick.
