London. . . August 1. . . This day 7-night, while the parish
girls of St. Martin's in the Fields were singing an anthem
over the grave of a little girl then interr'd, the deal
boards laid a-cross the grave, on which they stood, gave
way, by which upwards of a dozen of them tumbled in, one
upon another; and a little girl who was undermost, had her
thigh broke, and two more had their arms crushed.
