Hanover, July 24. The King supp'd the 22d in the gardens at
Herenhausen with her Royal Highness the Princess of Hesse,
and several other persons of distinction. . . [2 lines] The
King and the Princess went afterwards to the opera-house,
which was magnificently illuminated, and where there was a
very grand ball, which was opened by the Princess of Hesse,
and continued till morning. The Duke of Dutchess of
Newcastle were present at the ball and the King did not
return to Herenhausen 'till two o'clock this morning.
