Avignon, Jan, 4.  The pretender's eldest son, who came here
the 24th of December with a small retinue, remained
incognito 'till the 2d instant, when he made his publick
entry into this city . . . [8 lines]  In the evening
fireworks were play'd off, and there a ball which lasted all
night.  We don't know whether he will fix his residence
here, or go to Malta, as has been reported.
