Letters from Dublin inform, that the day after the bill for limiting the duration of Parliaments in that Kingdom arrived there, and its success was made known, a prodigious number of persons waited on his Excellency the Lord Lieutenant to express their satisfaction on the occasion; the bells were set a ringing throughout the city, and the evening was concluded with illumination and bonfires, and other demonstrations of joy. |
