Musick and instruments, to be disposed of by a gentleman
from London, who is to leave the island soon, a large and
curious collection of it, in manuscript and print;
consisting of concerto's, sonata's, solo's, duets, Italian
and English songs in score; among which are McGibbon's and
Carusi's trio's:  Duets by Handel, Camini, Gerard, Dotzel,
&c. all very pretty and easy:  Col. Reid's famous solos's,
&c.  All the old and new Scots songs and tunes, with the
variations, by Messrs. Monro, Rutherford, Oswald, McGibbon,
and Bremner:  Lampe's musical magazine, with the thorough
bass, with very large copper plates to each song; variety of
guittar and harpsichord musick; large and small blank rul'd
books; Pasquali's new art of fingering, and his rules for
learning the thorough bass without a master; Crome's rules
to play the fiddle well, without a master, by way of
question and answer, with 25 copper plates; new country
dances, minuets, Scots reels, marches, hornpipes, &c. 
Instructions for singing, and for all instrument singly, and
for transposing musick into keys proper for your instrument;
good German flutes, at 3 dollars a piece; others with 2 or 3
middle pieces, to lower the pitch, to accompany the voice,
or any wind instrument; fiddles lined and corner stopt, to
strengthen 'em, and to prevent their unglewing in hot or
moist weather, at all prices from 3 dollars; hautboys and
reeds; common flutes of all sizes, from a dollar and
upwards; fiddle (and bass viol) bridges, well season'd, at
5s. lawful money per dozen; breech pins, tail pieces, and
pegs; fiddle bows of all lengths from 3s. and spare nuts;
the best Italian fiddle and bass viol strings, and others of
all sorts and sizes, from 4s. a bundle (viz. 30 strings) and
upwards--with a variety of other things in the musical way.-
-The above collected mostly for his own use (and now selling
off) in his travels thro' Italy, Germany, France, Spain, and
elsewhere.
  N.B.  He lodges at Mr. James Gould's, schoolmaster, in
Thames-Street, near the parade.
