An Evening School for young people of both sexes.  If
suitable encouragement is given, will be open'd by Benjamin
Dearborn, at his house in pav'd street.
   On Tuesday the 9th of October:  To be attended three
evenings in the week, from half after 6 'till 9 o'clock.
   The exercises proposed will be, in grammar, reading,
writing, spelling, arithmetick, and the rules of vocal music
(as far as may be learn'd without singing):  Any of those
exercises will be omited if desired.
   His writing and singing-schools which have been kept
thro' the summer, will be continu'd during the winter, if
the present encouragement continues.
  Portsmouth 27th September, 1781.
