Boston, July 26.  Yesterday the new and superb Meeting-House
in Battle-Street was opened for public worship; the exercise
was begun with singing an anthem, and a sermon, will adapted
to the occasion,  [sic] was preached by the Rev. Dr. Cooper,
from Genesis xxviii.17.----In the afternoon the Rev. Dr.
Chauncy preached from Psalms xxvi. 8. also very suitable to
the occasion, and the service concluded with another anthem.
