Peter Curtis Begs leave to inform the public, that he will
open a Dancing School next Monday in a convenient room under
the Printing Office, and will teach young gentlemen and
ladies three times a week, viz. on Monday, Thursday, and
Friday afternoons and evenings, at the rate of five dollars
for the first quarter, and four dollars per quarter
afterwards, two of which to be paid at entrance. [pointing
hand] He will also teach any private scholars at such times
as may best suit their convenience. Any gentlemen inclining
to be instructed to play on the violin, shall be taught by
the lesson, either at their own houses, or at said Curtis's
School, at a certain price for every lesson. Gentlemen who
will please to put their children under his tuition, may
depend upon their being taught in the most polite
manner;--and that he will strive to instill into their minds
the principles of good manners and genteel deportment.
