Tuesday night some villanous person or persons went into the New South Meeting-House, where they cut and destroyed a number of cushions, Psalm-books, and a large Bible; they did considerable other damage, and left such other marks of impious behaviour, as will brand the perpetrators with lasting infamy. A reward of ten pounds sterling is offered by the proprietors of said meeting to any who will [ ] perpetrators of so horrid an impiety. |
