By His Excellency Jonathan Belcher, Esq; Governour &
Commander in Chief, in & over his Majesty's Province of New
Hampshire in New England. Proclamation. . . and the
following encouragement he is graciously pleased to give
such able bodied effective men as shall enlist in the said
service, viz.
   That each company shall consist of one hundred men
including four serjeants, four corporals, and two drummers,
besides commission officers, which shall be one captain, two
lieutenants and an ensign. . . [18 lines] That all the
serjeants, corporals, drummers, and private soldiers shall
be entitled to receive his Majesty's pay from the respective
days they shall be enlisted, and the officers from the day
their commissions bear date;. . .
