Bristol [England], March 3. On Sunday last the Rev. Mr.
Whitefield preach'd on the new birth, from the cross, in the
church yard at Bussleton, two mile from this city, the
church not being big enough by any means to contain the
congregation; he afterwards administer'd the sacrament to
about seventy communicants; and in the afternoon he preach'd
from the mount at Rose-Green amongst the King's-Wood
Colliers, to a prodigious multitude, computed at 10000
souls; and though there were so many, yet all could hear;
and before the sermon begun they sung the hundredth Psalm. .
