London. . . Nov. 15. By private letter from Bristol we
have this further to add to what has been already publish'd,
That their Royal Highnesses were entertain'd in two seperate
apartments in the Merchants Hall; the Prince in one, and was
waited on by five young gentlemen, merchants sons; the
Princess in another, and was likewise waited on by Mrs.
Mayoress, and five young ladies, being merchants daughters;
after which his Royal Highness was pleas'd to open the ball
with Miss Jefferies, daughter to William Jefferies, Esq:
the Mayor. His Royal Highness had the freedom of the
Merchants Hall presented to him, in a fine gold box worth
200 guineas, as well as that of the city.
