Portsmouth, in New Hampshire, July 28.  On Friday the 23d
instant about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we had here a
severe clap of thunder and lightening, and rain:. . .  The
other of the two flashes of lightning fell upon the Rev. Mr.
Shurtleff's meeting house:  It struck first upon the roof
above the eight square, above the bell took the south west
post of the said square,. . .
