London. . . Octob. 2. We hear that Matthew Howard, Esq;
one of the directors of the bank, has obtained a license
from the office of ordinance, to display such fire works as
he shall think proper on the evening of the day that the
nuptials, between his Highness the Prince of Orange and the
Princess Royal of Great Britain, shall be solemnized, which
will be done by subscription of him and several of the
gentlemen of Hackney, great preparations being making for
celebrating the same; and there will be a ball for the
ladies.
