Charlestown, (South Carolina,) June 2.  Mr Oglethorpe, set
out from hence on the 14th of May, and lay at Col. Bull's
house on Ashley River, where he dined the next day. . . [3

   Tomo-chi-chi invited them to his town, where they passed
the night in feasting & dancing.
On the 21st their treaty was signed; a laced coat, a laced
hat, and a shirt, was given to each of the Indian chiefs,
and to each of the warriors a gun, a mantle of duffils, and
to all their attendants coarse cloth for cloathing. . .
