Whereas the Society for promoting regular Singing in the
worship of God, did, upon the spreading of the small pox
among us, think proper to forbear their usual meetings,
while the distemper continu'd. And the town being now
almost free of infection, the moderator and several others
of the said Society, desire a meeting of all the members
thereof at the Town-House in Boston, on Thursday evening
next, at 7 of clock, to consider whether it may not be
proper now to begin their weekly meetings, for improvements
in that delightful and heavenly exercise.
