The following are the articles of capitulation agreed upon
at the surrender of Chamblee, [Canada].
1. The officers and men not to be made prisoners, but to
march, unmolested, with their arms, accoutrements, twenty-
four rounds of ammunition each, drums beating, colours
flying, and provision carts sufficient to pass by the
shortest road to Montreal . . . [not agreed]
