Watertown, June 12.  We hear from Boston that on Monday
last, Gage, attended by the principal refugees and officers
of this clan, met at the Town house for the purpose of
drowning their sorrows in bumpers; but lo! e'er the [   ]
were begun, a most dreadful gun-powder plot pretended to [  
] was heard thro' their whole ranks, which sounded neither
like gun, drum, trumpet, blunderbuss or thunder. . .
