On Saturday last some hail stones, which fell in a garden in
Hampstead, were an inch and a quarter long, three quarters
of an inch broad, and half and inch thick, which however did
no damage at that place; but at Edmonton, Endfield, &c. the
hail stones did great damage, by breaking the windows of the
houses, and the glasses in the gardens to pieces,
particularly the windows in the Assembly Room were all broke
