Province of New-Hampshire, Rockingham ff. At a town-meeting,
held at the North meeting-house in Portsmouth, the 27th, day
of June 1774. . . [12 lines] Voted unanimously, that the
proceedings of this meeting hitherto are satisfactory to the
town, and the watch are desired to give the earliest notice
to the inhabitants, should any disturbance arise, by ringing
the bells or any other method. . .
