Extract of a letter from Copenhagen, Jan. 18. . . [17 lines,
revolution in Denmark, Queen Dowager behind it.] The King
was intirely ignorant of all that was passing; for his
Majesty went from the Masked Ball, which was given at court
that evening, at twelve o'clock, where he had danced and
played at quadrille with General Gahler, his lady, and
Councellor Struensee, Prince Frederick, the King's brother,
was present at the ball, but not much attention was paid to
him, and he did not stay to sup there. . .
