From the London papers, of October, 1770. Cinna's Marriage
with Kat. Macaulay.
A whorson despot has in a periodical pamphlet, addressed a
baby ballad to Mrs. Katherine Macauley of Bernier-street,
widow and historian. This bard, in his tiny rymes, has
attempted to recommend in a ludicrous manner, the reverend
Doctor Green to this ornament of republican viragoes, as a
very proper second partner to her bed. . . [11 lines] All
the animosities of parties will be forgotten upon the joyful
occasion; Taycho will dance on his crutch with some fair
favourer of despotism; . . .
