(By authority.)  At the Theatre in Baltimore, on Tuesday the
13th of May, 1783, will be presented a comedy, called The
West-Indian.
Belcour, Mr. Ryan; Capt. Dudley, Mr. Church; Ensign Dudley,
Mr. Smith Fulmer, Mr. Shakespear; Major O'Flaherty, Mr.
Wall; Varland, Mr. Davids; Sailors, servants &c. Messrs.
Brown, Roussell, Jones, &c. Stockwell, Mr. Heard. Lady
Rusport, Mrs. Ryan; Louisa Dudley, Mrs. Elm; and the
character of Charlotte Rusport, by a lady, being her first
appearance. 
To which will be added, an entertainment, called The Old
Maid.
Clerimont, Mr. Wall; Mr. Harlow, Mr. Davids; Jew, Mr.
Church; Capt. Cape, Mr. Ryan. Miss Harlow. (The Old Maid) by
Mrs. Ryan. 
  Boxes, one dollar; pit, five shillings.
  Tickets to be had at Mr. James Young's, near the Post
Office--at Mr. M'Candless's Tavern, Gay-Street--at the
Exchange Coffee-House, Fell's Point--and at the office of
the Theatre, where places for the boxes may be taken, from
ten to twelve o'clock every day.
   Doors to be opened at six, and begin at seven.
  Mr. Ryan will be much obliged to any lady or gentleman,
possessed of the Tragedy of Henry the Second, or Fall of
Rosamond, who will lend it to him: Or, any person having it
for sale, with have their price, by sending it to the
theatre.
