(By authority.) (The last night, but one, of performance
here, for some time) At the Theatre in Baltimore, this
evening, being the 11th of April, 1783, will be presented a
tragedy, called The Roman Father.
Publius Horatius, son to Horatius, Mr. Ryan; Tullius
Hostilius, King of Rome, Mr. Lewis; Valerius, Mr. Wall;
Citizens, guards, and attendants, Messrs. Davids, Atherton,
Roussel, &c. &c. Horatius, Mr. Heard. Valeria, Mrs. Elm;
Horatia, Mrs. Ryan.
To which will be added, a pantomime entertainment, called
The Witches; or, Birth, Vagaries, and Death of Harlequin.
Harlequin, Mr. Atherton; Pantaloon, Mr. Heard; Maccaroni,
Mr. Davids; Clown, Mons. Roussel; Hecate, Mr. Wall; Witches,
Messrs. Lewis and Tilyard; Mrs. Potter, Miss Wall, &c. &c.
Watchman, Mr. Church; Colombine, Mrs. Elm. With dancing.
Boxes, one dollar; pit, five shillings.
Tickets to be had at Mr. James Young's, near the Post
Office--at Mr. M'Candless's Tavern, Gay-Street--at the
Exchange Coffee-House, Fell's Point--and at the office of
the Theatre, where places for the boxes may be taken, from
ten to twelve o'clock every day.
