(By Authority)  At the Theatre in Baltimore, on Wednesday
evening, the 2d of April, 1783, will be presented, a
tragedy, called Theodosius; or The Force of Love.
With new solemn music, grand chorusses, &c. &c. 
  To open with a Temple-scene, representing the Christian
religion, in its primitive magnificence.
Theodosius, Mr. Heard; Marcian, Mr. Lewis; Leontine, Mr.
Davids; Articus, Mr. Church; Lucius, Mr. Atherton; Aranthes,
Mr. Tilyard; Varanes, Mr. Wall. Pulcheria, Mrs. Elm;
Athenias, Mrs. Ryan; 
To which will be added, a farce, called The Cheats of
Scapin.
Gripe, Mr. Heard; Thrifty, Mr. Davids; Octavian, Mr. Church;
Leander, Mr. Tilyard; Shift, Mr. Lewis; Sly, Mr Atherton; 
Scapin, Mr. Wall.  Lucia, Mrs. Elm; Clara, Mrs. Potter. 
Boxes, one dollar; pit, five shillings.
[hand pointing right] On account of the length of the days,
the doors in future, will be opened at six o'clock, and 
begin precisely at seven.
  Tickets to be had at Mr. James Young's, near the Post
Office--at the Exchange Coffee-House, Fell's Point--and at
the office of the Theatre, where places for the boxes may be
taken, from ten to twelve o'clock every day.
  ***The Manager requests the gentlemen and ladies who
procure tickets at the office of the Theatre, would, in
future, always bring the exact change, as no change can be
given, owing to the confusion it occasions in the hurry of
business.
