[By permission.]   At the New Theatre, in Baltimore, This
evening, being the 5th of March, will be presented the
tragedy of Venice Preserv'd; or, A Plot Discover'd.
Jaffier, by Mr. Heard; Pierre, by Mr. Wall; Duke of Venice,
a gentleman for his amusement; Prioli, Mr. Shakespeare;
Redamar, Mr. Street; Renault, Mr. Lewis; Conspirators,
Messrs. Atherton, Lindsay, &c. Belvidera, by Mrs. Robinson,
(being her second appearance on this stage.) 
To which will be added, a farce, called The King and the
Miller of Mansfield.
Boxes one dollar; pit five shillings; gallery three
shillings and nine pence.
  The doors to be opened at half past four, and will begin
at six o'clock.
  [hand pointing right] No persons can be admitted without
tickets, which may be had at the coffee-house in Baltimore,
at Lindsay's Coffee-house on Fell's Point and at Captain
Dennis's, four doors from the theatre.
   *** No person will, on any pretence, be admitted behind
the scenes.
   Any gentleman possessed of good farces, and will lend or
dispose of them to the managers, will greatly oblige them.
  [hand pointing right] Some tunes having been called for,
by persons in the gallery, which have given offence to
others, the managers have resolved, that no music will be
played, but such as they shall order the day before the
representation.
