A well-regulated theatre, will (in a few days) be opened, at
Baltimore; and as the greatest attention will be paid to
actors of real genius, the managers are resolved to give
suitable encouragement to any persons who may apply to them,
poss[e]ssed of proper talents for the stage, being
determined that neither trouble or expense shall be wanting
to render their undertaking worthy of public protection:
Nevertheless no person need apply whose character will not
bear inquiring into. Letters (post paid) will be duly
answered, directed to the Managers of the Maryland Company
of Comedians, at Lindsay's Coffee-house, on Fell's Point.
Dec. 24, 1781.
