Five Pounds reward. September 13, 1774.  Ran away from the
subscriber, living in Cumberland Township, York County, a
scotch servant man, named John McDonald, about 5 feet 6
inches high, of a dark complexion, has black curled hair,
speaks in the Scotch dialect, and is a miller by trade: Had
on and took with him, when he went away, a felt hat, a blue
camblet coat, 2 new linen shirts, check trousers, blue
stockings, blue velvet jacket, new shoes and plated buckles,
a silver watch and a good fiddle.
