Boston, June 13. In pursuance of a recommendation of the
Hon. Congress of the United States to his Excellency the
Governor, yesterday was observed for the celebration of
Dauphin of France. The day was ushered in by the ringing of
bells, discharging of cannon, &c. but the necessity of
putting this paper early to press, prevents our gratifying
our readers with the particulars of the rejoicing which was
continued in the evening by a brilliant display of fire
works from a stage in the common, illuminations, &c.
