Annapolis, March 27. On Friday last, between the hours of
twelve and one o'clock, "His Excellency Thomas Johnson, jun.
Esq; governor of the State of Maryland," was proclaimed at
the Stadt-House, in the presence of a great number of
people, who expressed the highest satisfaction on the
occasion.
The procession begun at the Assembly house, and proceeded
in the following order . . . [order of march, description of
entertainment, toasts] The whole concluded with an elegant
ball in the evening.
