Proclamation.
Appointing the distribution of prizes taken during the
continuance of the rebellion new subsisting in divers parts
of the continent of North America. George R.
Whereas by an act . . . to prohibit all trade . . . [2 full
columns: lists method of dividing up prizes among crews of
ships.] To the trumpeters, quarter gunners, carpenter's
crew, steward, cook, . . . ordinary trumpeter, barber, able
seaman. . . two eighth parts, to be divided equally amongst
them. . .
And in case any sea captain. . . be absent . . . the
share of such . . . [is] allowed to the trumpeters, quarter
gunners, carpenter's crew, steward, cook, armourer, . .
