Williamsburgh, July 6. Extract of a letter from London,
dated April 24.
. . .Discussion of political disturbances in London, and
elsewhere]
I saw on the Thirteenth (the noted Middlesex Election Day,
in the afternoon, as the grand procession of Freeholders
returned through the city) the greatest concourse of people
that ever were known; . . . I was stunned with the loud
huzzaing and acclamations on the event of the day, the
procession stopped at the Palace, while the music played God
Save the King, the same was done at the Mansion-House,

in short, all England seems convulsed, the ladies at Bath
are turned to Boxers.
